Weilachmühle

Welcome to the Weilachmühle in Thalhausen

Idyllically situated between Aichach, Augsburg and Dachau near Altomünster lies this marvellous and extraordinary property. The mill (grain and sawmill) was mentioned in a document as early as 1737 - but it had probably been in existence for longer at that time. The current house was built in 1874.
Berti Well from the large family of Well brothers and sisters has presented an excellent cabaret programme here for decades. He also catered for the physical well-being of his many guests in the inn and beer garden until he sold the historic ensemble in 2012.

We - the Tesch family - are continuing Berti Well's tradition.

The mill is still a location for weddings and other celebrations, as it was under Berti Well. There is also the cabaret theatre again, especially in the winter months, and the beer garden in summer.

Alpaca breeding has added a wide range of different activities, including alpaca seminars and hikes as well as organising children's birthday parties.

The small, fine farm shop for alpaca wool products and many other beautiful things, selected by Christine Tesch, is located in an outbuilding.
