The over 100-year-old waterworks in Wilhelmsburg was decommissioned in 2008 and converted into a spectacular location as part of the International Garden Show 2013. The machine hall is a gem of industrial architecture. Built in 1911, the white plastered cube structure with its high mullioned windows and hipped roof is ideally integrated into the Inselpark. This unique setting creates an inspiring atmosphere for unforgettable events and special occasions. The steps of the spacious outdoor terrace lead directly down to the water. The campus is completed by the red-brick, smaller atomisation building. Inside, the huge water tank, which has been made accessible, surprises with its walls whose structure bears witness to almost one hundred years of water history.

Our location is the perfect setting for weddings, company celebrations or private dinners for 25 people or more, and there are no limits to the wishes of our guests. Enjoy unforgettable events in a stylish ambience that can be customised to your individual requirements.
