With an event space of 268 square metres, a movable stage and variable room dividers, the resonanzraum offers space for inspiration, interaction and innovation.
As Europe's first club space with excellent acoustics for classical music, the resonanzraum has been a lively hotspot of new impulses for young and urban listeners since 2014. In the middle of St. Pauli, between the cathedral and Millerntor stadium, in the direct neighbourhood of clubs such as "Uebel und Gefährlich" and the radio station "Byte FM", cultural life pulsates here. The architecture of the space is designed for encounters and resonance: between musicians and audience, art and life, neighbourhood and concert.
Large revolving iron gates control the size and acoustics of the space and allow individual freedom of design for the capacity and atmosphere of the event. Open concrete walls tell the story of the building, while the imposing, illuminated bar, a warm wooden floor and the open room design make the resonanzraum an inviting place to meet. A chandelier made from 270 PET bottles creates a unique lighting atmosphere and leaves an impression. The lounge area with cosy armchairs invites you to linger, while the expansive event or dance floor brings movement into the room. The resonanzraum can accommodate up to 250 people - access is barrier-free.
