A place of tranquillity. A place of pleasure. A place for you.
Here, in the traditional Ludwigstraße, the heart of the city has been beating since the Middle Ages.
Once an important trade route, it was renamed in 1826 in honour of King Ludwig I and developed into Passau's main traffic and shopping street.
Empress Elisabeth of Austria-Hungary, better known as Sissi, also visited Passau several times. She bid farewell to her homeland here as early as 1854 on her way to her wedding in Vienna.
The three-storey building with its gabled roof, characteristic projecting wall and stylish extension was built before 1810. The combination of antique elements and modern elegance runs through the entire house. Old, restored wooden floors, hand-picked antique tiles and fine natural materials lend the rooms a special warmth.
From the apricot-coloured façade, an old wooden staircase leads you along stylish corridors to our unique 25 rooms. Whether panelled with warm fir wood or decorated with stucco, each room enchants with its stylish interior and selected antique pieces of furniture.
Today, the house combines historical charm with luxurious comfort. An exclusive wellness area awaits you in the converted attic, where peace and relaxation take centre stage.
Our restaurant with around 100 seats inside and 50 more on the terrace invites you to enjoy special moments of pleasure. An open fireplace and charcoal grill create a unique atmosphere and culinary sophistication. The fine cuisine is based on high-quality ingredients and combines tradition with modern lightness.
Whether in a convivial atmosphere or as a stylish end to the evening: our bar with exquisite wines, creative cocktails and classic drinks offers the perfect setting to round off the day in the historic centre of Passau in style.
