Sustainability as a Core Principle
Sustainable thinking and action have always shaped the way MHP operates. As a platform for hotel investment and management, we work in a sector that plays a significant role in the sustainable development of society. According to a 2021 WTTC report, tourism contributes around ten percent to Germany’s economic output—a responsibility we take seriously.

We firmly believe that long-term business success is only possible when ecological and social factors are considered from the outset. That’s why sustainability is not just part of our strategic planning—it is embedded in the daily operations across every area of our company.

Since the founding of MHP Hotel Group, it has been a matter of course for us to operate our hotels with environmental awareness and in line with social standards. Equally important to us is responsible corporate governance based on clear ethical principles.

Whether we are running hotels, acquiring new properties, or renovating existing ones, we strive to ensure that our actions align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the 1.5-degree target set by the Paris Agreement.

This holistic approach is deeply rooted in our company culture. It forms the foundation of our ESG strategy—not as a checklist, but as a genuine expression of who we are.
