Sustainably built - according to the cradle-to-cradle principle
The houseboats from Hausboot Manufaktur Hamburg stand for a consistently ecological construction method. Only natural, durable materials such as regional wood from sustainable forestry, recyclable aluminium floats and natural insulating materials are used.
In line with the cradle-to-cradle system, attention is paid to the reusability of all building materials right from the planning stage. No environmentally harmful waste is produced - all materials can be returned to technical or biological cycles. This makes sustainable living and working on the water possible - comfortable, environmentally conscious and future-proof.
The sustainable concept is complemented by the use of photovoltaic systems that generate environmentally friendly electricity directly on board and thus enable a self-sufficient energy supply.
