What sustainability initiatives does the venue implement?
With full conviction, we have set out to set new standards for responsibility in tourism. As part of the exciting TourCert qualification process, we have analysed our sustainability performance with a fresh eye and asked ourselves profound questions: How can we make our corporate philosophy even greener? How can we further reduce our consumption of energy, waste, water and paper? And how can we expand our social commitment even further, for example by supporting inspiring projects and initiatives?
Our entire team is passionate about ensuring that sustainability plays a central role in all our activities. Together, we have developed specific improvement measures that we will work on with full vigour to make our vision of a sustainable future a reality. You can look forward to the exciting developments that lie ahead!
We have already taken the following measures:
We source our electricity from 100% green electricity
We obtain our heat from our environmentally friendly pellet heating system
Our saunas are not heated continuously, but as required for you
All of our lighting has been converted to LED
Our kitchen cooks with regional and seasonal ingredients - much of the food comes from the organic market garden and our eggs from organic farmers
We deliberately keep our menu small to avoid food waste
Our snacks during the seminar breaks are plastic-free
Our charging station for your electric vehicle is at your disposal

Yes, we are a branch of the Plau am See registry office, so a wedding ceremony is possible on site and also in the park. The church wedding can take place in the neighbouring village of Reinshagen.
