Whether it's a wedding, birthday, christening, family celebration or company party - we have the ideal venue for you. The Schützenwirt offers a wide variety of rooms for your event. Two terraces allow you to celebrate outdoors when the weather is fine. One of the terraces is in our garden with an idyllic watercourse and a view of the forest, the other is in front of the house right next to the pond.
At the Schützenwirt, we don't just cook, we celebrate. And we also take this seriously when organising celebrations - everything is just right: the food, the drinks, the service and the ambience.
Easy access, ample parking and just a few minutes' drive south of the city limits of Salzburg - that's where you'll find us! The Schützenwirt is situated on a wooded hill, right next to the pond and the pilgrimage church of St Jakob.

SUSTAINABLE AND FRESH FROM THE FIELD
Here at the Schützenwirt, sustainability and animal welfare take centre stage. We cook with respect for nature, only use high-quality products and make sure that every ingredient is chosen carefully - preferably regional, seasonal and directly from our producers.
Our vegetables come fresh from the field in Wals and meat from farms that work with special respect for the animals. We also remain true to our philosophy when it comes to drinks: we serve organic lemonades, healthy drinks and regional juices. Our wine list with selected winegrowers who produce excellent wines rounds off the offer.
The quality and authenticity of these products are essential to us and we are proud to be part of this local supply chain. In this way, we guarantee the highest quality and responsible use of resources.
